Where does the chosen character appear?

Your chosen astronaut portrait appears on the ownership page. In the adventure scenes, the astronaut wears a spacesuit with a reflective gold visor, so the face and hair are covered. Your child’s name appears throughout the story.

Which portrait choices are available?

Boy and girl portraits are available with African American, Asian, Hispanic, Indian (South Asian), or White characters. Each has black, blonde, brown, or red hair options—40 combinations in all.

Will the preview show my child’s name?

The selector shows the astronaut portrait you choose. Gallery pages use sample names. We add your child’s name to the cover and story when we create the personalized book.

Is this a science textbook?

No. The Lost Little Comet is an imaginative fantasy adventure, with friendly talking comets and a magical rocket. It celebrates curiosity, kindness, and problem-solving.

Can I use a nickname?

Yes. Enter the first name or nickname exactly as you’d like it printed. Please check the spelling before adding the book to your cart.

What should I write in the gift message?

Can I order for more than one child?
