Standard U.S. shipping starts at $4.99. Other shipping options and applicable charges are displayed at checkout.

We personalize and prepare individual book orders within 1–2 business days before handing them to the carrier. Bulk orders take 3 business days to prepare. Shipping transit time is additional and depends on the delivery option selected at checkout.

Free Lifetime Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges at any time—there is no return deadline. This policy covers all First Time Books products, including personalized books.

New and slightly used books are eligible for return, whether or not they are defective. If you are unhappy with your purchase, contact us and we will help.

Returns and exchanges are free. We provide a prepaid return shipping label, charge no restocking fees, and never deduct return shipping costs from your refund. You do not need to purchase return shipping or shipping insurance.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Email ckase@firsttimebooks.com with your order number and let us know whether you would like a refund or an exchange. We will send you return instructions and a free printable return label.

Refunds

After we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5 days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the credit.
