Which character choices are available?

Boy and girl editions are available with African American, Asian, Hispanic, Indian (South Asian), or White characters. Every character is available with black, blonde, brown, or red hair.

Will the preview show my child’s name?

The preview shows the cover artwork for the character you select. We add your child’s name to the cover and story when we create the personalized book.

Can I use a nickname?

Yes. Enter the first name or nickname exactly as you’d like it printed. Please check the spelling before adding the book to your cart.

What should I write in the gift message?

A short personal message or sign-off works beautifully—for example, “Love, Grandma & Grandpa.” You can enter up to 100 characters or leave it blank.

Can I order for more than one child?

Yes. Personalize each child’s book and add it to your cart separately. The two-copy option includes two identical books with the same name, character, and gift message.
